Please send a photograph of the property to the relevant department and include the following information: size, medium, date, and provenance. Alternatively, please contact the department directly by phone or email for further information.

When and Where to Sell
Phillips de Pury & Company conducts auctions in each collecting category in New York, London and Geneva throughout the year. A specialist will discuss with you the most appropriate season and venue to insure the strongest bidding for the property.

Consigning Property
Once completed, the consignment forms serve as your contract and receipt. The specialist will recommend a catalogue estimate range and discuss any reserves we recommend for the property.

Additional Charges
Additional charges include Phillips de Pury & Company’s seller commission and the cost of insuring the property while on the company’s premises. Charges for catalogue photography, property transport may apply. These charges will be discussed by the specialist who is consigning the property

Payment
After the auction, the seller will receive a sale result form indicating the hammer price less the seller’s commission and any applicable additional charges. Provided payment has been received by the buyer, payment to the seller is made 35 days from the auction date.
